Dynamic teenage alt-rap duo Tm & Remy are carving their own lane on latest single “Leaders”.
Hailing from the outskirts of London, close friends and dynamic teenage alt-rap duo Tm & Remy are known for their experimental approach to hip-hop— creating eclectic tracks that fall within the subgenres of alternative rap and UK drill. Despite being relatively new on the scene, they have already received support from the likes of BBC Music Introducing, Reprezent Radio and DUMMY. After spending some time working on new music since signing with DMY Artists, they’re back with the inspiring new single “Leaders”. Whereas most people around their age group tend to follow the latest trends and fashion, they prefer to follow their own path and inspire others to be different. Laced with a memorable hook and catchy melodies, the trap-infused banger sees the two play a key role in kicking motivation for their peers into gear. Strong leaders (like the ones on the artwork: Kyrie Irving, Naomi Osaka, Lionel Messi and Anthony Joshua), demonstrate that both failures and triumphs can be valuable. The struggle, and what you learn along the way makes you who you are.
“Leaders is our way of saying to be yourself and not to follow the crowd as we’ve come to know that a lot of people are ‘sheep’ when it comes to social media and other trends. This is meant to be a motivational song to start the year after our EP and our recent signing with DMY Artists. We think the song is really different but catchy and manages to portray our feelings towards those who we consider ‘sheep’ people”. — Remy Saint.
