RONA Returns With Double Single Release “U Still Up” and “Wave”

One of London’s most intriguing new artists RONA returns with her unique brand of dark R&B with a double single release “U Still Up” and “Wave”.

RONA’s sound and image is influenced by an eclectic selection of artists such as Usher, Alicia Keys, Tupac and Jay Z to metal groups Bring Me The Horizon, Letlive and Architects. On “U Still Up” she embraces her sensual side with a breathtaking vocal performance over a trap-infused production. Whereas “Wave” is a more upbeat dark R&B track featuring model/rapper Jnr Choi— with its infectious hook, relatable lyrics and compelling production, “Wave” is the perfect go to track for a late night drive when you need to clear your mind.

“As a female in this industry, I was fed up with the constant issues that were happening at the time and ‘Wave’ addresses this. Unfortunately a lot of female artists take a few hard hits early in their career – including myself – and it takes a couple of hard hits before that confidence really kicks in”RONA.
