James has linked up with South East London rapper Rasstokyo on moody new single “Compliments”. It’s sonically dark and it has this intense trap-infused sound that stands out from many UK releases in the same genre. Rasstokyo’s vocals float beautifully over the captivating production, giving listeners who are into this style of music, late night Toronto vibes— good songwriting, textured melodies and dark undertones.
