17 year-old Belfast emo rap artist CRIM drops new single “I NEED U”.
Inspired by by the DIY attitude of artists such as the late XXXTentacion, Future and Lil Uzi Vert, 17 year-old Belfast-based artist CRIM started recording music at the age of 12. Despite facing many limitations and struggles early on recording at his best friends Rory’s house, the pair worked tirelessly together over the next 3 years to record over 500 songs. Self-taught and passionate about the music he creates, he’s quickly emerging as one of the main artists of the underground emo rap scene in Belfast. His new single “I NEED U” is an in-your-face alt-rap anthem with elements of trap, pop, rock and punk. Its infectiously catchy hook is more than likely to get stuck in your head, and if live shows do make a comeback this year, this song will definitely open up a lot of mosh pits.
