Rising Toronto-based artist ThxSoMch returns with new single “When The Devil Speaks…”
Riding the wave of his breakout 2022 single “SPIT IN THE MY FACE” which boasts over 400 million streams on Spotify alone, the Toronto-based rising star ThxSoMch is back again with another anthem, “When The Devil Speaks…” released via Elektra.
Accompanied by a visually compelling music video directed by longtime collaborator Tommy Kiljoy, the footage seamlessly stitches together electrifying moments from his first international tour, the Sleez World Tour. The video’s pace mirrors the energetic production of the song, offering glimpses of sold-out shows that span across Europe, the UK, and the US.
Produced by LMG and Dutch Reyz, “When The Devil Speaks…” effortlessly blends post-punk and nu metal with sprinkles of emo rap. The track marks another bold artistic step for ThxSoMch, and despite it’s upbeat soundscape, the track juxtaposes bright sonics with his introspective lyrics as he confesses, “When the devil speaks, he says to me, ‘Oh man, I think there’s something wrong inside of your head’.” As the pace picks up, he tops off the song with a manic plea, “I don’t need no counsel bitch, I need your fucking prayers.”
