Egyptian singer-songwriter pre kai ro unveils impressive new EP Glo Up.
For a long time we were trying to figure out where emerging star pre kai ro was from. At first we thought he was another exciting up and coming British act because of his previous collaboration with producer Ozzie, then he linked up with French artist/producer olsem and we all thought he was French for a minute. We eventually realised he’s actually Egyptian and also one of the best alternative R&B acts around.
His latest EP Glo Up showcases his growth as an artist, he sounds more confident and his voice is still one of the most alluring voices around. Standout track “Complicated” will probably be most people’s favourite — a perfect night vibe. The best way to describe pre kai ro’s sound, would probably be: The Weeknd-meets Massari and Teflon Sega over dark, moody trap beats. Press play.
