ROSIN — intention

ROSIN releases new single “intention”

Inspired by the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, James Blake, and Donna Missal, singer-songwriter ROSIN has crafted her own musical path. In recent years she relocated from Brighton to London to pursue her music career, and it’s here where she found herself embraced by a community of fellow artists. This supportive environment has allowed her to evolve her soundscape and develop her gifted approach to writing.

Her new single, “intention”, written with Duncan Pym who also co-produced it, is a beautiful song that delves into the theme of unrequited love. A self-confessed romantic, her weightless vocals perfectly captures the raw emotion behind her lyrics. Overall, “intention” is a poignant reflection on love’s complexities, expertly blending sincerity with a hint of melancholy.

“Intention is about feeling this closeness with someone in the moment but knowing that it won’t be more than that. I found myself wondering how someone can create this intimacy with you, without feeling anything. Although some people might see it as a sad song, as it is about a love that is not reciprocated, I hope that the listener also recognises the beauty of having feelings for someone and how it makes you feel inspired. I loved the song from the start, as it was so personal and really captured that feeling of a crush being so delicate.”ROSIN.
