“I wrote this song during a rainy summer day in 2023. Budge is about recognizing a relationship is over before it actually ends. In my case, I could tell my relationship was quickly approaching unhealthy territories and I couldn’t stay much longer. Sometimes no matter how badly you want things to work out it’s too late and the damage is already done.” — LOUD HOUND.
