Fia Moon Unveils Captivating New Single “better days”

Irish singer-songwriter Fia Moon unveils captivating new single “better days”.

“better days” is the first of six singles to come from rising Irish star Fia Moon — the song was co-written by Moon along with established songwriters Rob Harvey (Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne, Tom Walker, Rudimental, The Streets) and Lewis Thompson (Just Kidd, Joel Corry). The emotionally-driven song lyrically touches on subjects such as loss and insomnia and is built over a electronic-centred lush production by Willie Tenner and B-CROMA.

“When we wrote the song, I had only done a handful of sessions and didn’t really know what I was doing. I was struggling to balance a break-up, music stuff, moving house, and a full-time job, which I later quit. So, in a short space of time, my whole life had suddenly been totally uprooted and in a big city like London, you can feel very alone. The lyrics – it’s 5 in the morning’ is just me lying awake at night, questioning myself, unsure whether I was on the right path.”Fia Moon.

It’s no surprise Moon has already received acclaim from the likes of CLASH, EARMILK and The Irish Times, she bares her soul on “better days” as she delivers one of her absolute best vocal performances. Despite the emotional verses, the chorus is both uplifting and inspiring — it has the potential to put you in a better mood if you’re going through something. Fia Moon is definitely an artist you should keep your eyes on. Press play.
