SHY MARTIN Returns With “Out Of My Hands”

Award-winning Swedish singer-songwriter SHY MARTIN returns with her first release of the year titled “Out Of My Hands” — a mid-tempo pop gem that explores the poignant intricacies of love.

“I wrote ‘Out of My Hands’ last summer together with three of my favourite songwriters: Freddy Alexander, SHY Nodi and Madison Love. The song is about leaving behind a destructive relationship that you’ve become addicted to. When you’ve been in a relationship for a long time it’s easier and less painful to stay in it, rather than leave it behind, as it’s so hard at the time to know who you are without the other person. I think that’s the reason why people tend to romanticise destructive relationships, and why it’s so easy to fall right back into them” — SHY MARTIN.

It’s a triumphant return for one of pop music’s brightest stars who has seen much of her success behind the scenes, penning tracks for the likes of Bebe Rexha, Jess Glynne, Ellie Goulding and more. With it’s summer-feel production and an infectious chorus, “Out of My Hands” is another spectacular release by MARTIN. Expect to hear more of the rising star this year.
