Nother and Moon Leap return with “Mercy”
Having released “Until You Come Back Home” and “Nothing Wrong”, duo Nother and Moon Leap recently released their third single “Mercy”, taken from their upcoming EP On the Edge of Getting Lost.
Sonically, “Mercy” is a rich, atmospheric blend of alt-R&B textures and electronic influences, wrapped in a production that feels both intimate and expansive. Moon Leap’s vocal performance is a standout — fluid, emotive and effortlessly commanding. But it’s the message that cuts deepest. Lyrically, the track serves as a poignant inner monologue — a quiet storm of resistance against a world that (sadly) asks everything of women and gives back far too little.
