No Love For The Middle Child releases stunning new single “Broken Wings”
Philly-raised and now based in LA, No Love For The Middle Child takes a bold step forward with “Broken Wings” — his most personal track to date and the first taste of a new album dropping in 2026.
The single refuses to sit neatly in one lane, weaving together alt-pop, pop-punk and rock influences into something both sharp and emotional. At its core is a vivid image: an angel on a park bench in heaven, cigarette in hand, wings rusting, a storm cloud overhead. It’s a striking metaphor for the restlessness of modern life — and the way we’re always pushing the goalpost, even when we’ve already made it further than we realise.
“Broken Wings is about a pessimist never being happy with what they have or for what they’ve already earned. If we can’t be happy and enjoy the ride, what’s the point of it all?” — No Love For The Middle Child.
The track blends the intimacy of folk with the raw emotion of emo. His vocals flow perfectly over the production, creating something heartfelt and instantly engaging.
