It should be a crime to not mention K-SI Yang’s name when you talk about the best emerging artists within the alternative R&B scene. The Miami, Florida artist has been consistent from the beginning and has dropped a plethora of underground classics, such as the excellent “Shoot Me Down”, which is in contention for best song of 2019 (end of year lists will commence next week), “Million”, the ethereal “Real” and his most popular release to date, the sensual “body in the mood”.
Recently, he’s been dropping a single every week and the latest drop “Anti-Social” is the best yet. His ear for the right production to match with his raspy vocals is second to none. Musically, the song itself effortlessly falls under the alternative R&B genre sub genre, but its trap-infusion adds a little bounce that could move a crowd. Let’s hope this song finally generates a buzz for one of the most underrated artists around. Press play.
