Toronto-based artist jules shares new single “jupiter”
Canada continues to bless us with some of the best emerging artists on the planet, and today Toronto-based singer-songwriter jules makes her DNü debut with her gorgeous indie pop single “jupiter”, the follow up to “santa fe”. Singing and writing have always been a part of her core, whether she shared them with those around her or not— her passion for both grew during her self-discovery journey and hasn’t stopped since.
In “jupiter” she explores the effort to stay present in the face of modern life’s many demands, reflecting on mental health struggles and the feelings of uncertainty around major life decisions. Her delicate vocals and raw lyricism draw listeners in, and its indie vibe is reminiscent of other amazing artists like Clairo, Faye Webster and fellow Canadian emerging star Blair Lee.
