Jayli Wolf Shares New Single “Hush”

Toronto-based artist Jayli Wolf shares captivating new single “Hush”.

A doomsday cult survivor and a role model in her community, Jayli Wolf is an artist and creative based in Canada’s most populous city Toronto. After spending much of her music career as one of half of the electronic duo Once A Tree, she recently took the solo route. She debuted with “Child of The Government”, a stunning electronic-centred track which explored experiences and the lasting trauma of colonial genocide on her family. On her latest single “Hush” she effortlessly combines alternative R&B and electronic music to create another captivating track where she truly showcases her breathtaking vocal abilities. Lyrically, the song is about passion and discovery. Having been raised in a high control religious group, she often felt immense shame around the truth of who she was. Now that she’s free from that mental conditioning, she’s allowed herself to open up more and expel the shame around her sexuality.

“I hope this song brings people feelings of power and freedom in their own personal explorations. It was incredibly liberating to write and filming the visual put me so in touch with my feminine sexual energy” Jayli Wolf.
