Jaira Burns has been quiet for almost a year since she released her debut EP Burn Slow, which featured impressive tracks such as “Sugarcoat” and “Low Key In Love”. She returns with one of the most captivating releases of the year, “Goddess” is a self-empowering new single that showcases the Pittsburgh natives superstar potential and will no doubt place her amongst some of the best rising pop Queens out there.
It’s one of the most inspiring and badass songs I’ve heard in a long time, Jaira sounds confident throughout as she sings beautifully over the triumphant production that fits somewhere in between the genres of pop and R&B. This is the type of song that will give all female listeners an instant boost, and I’m here for that.
