GiGi Polar returns with haunting new single “XXX IN DESIGNER”
London-based alternative/emo artist and producer GiGi Polar returns with new single “XXX IN DESIGNER”, a dark post-punk track that feels raw and emotionally direct.
Co-produced with Song Higginson, the song explores toxic relationship — staying blind to the damage, becoming consumed by obsession and losing yourself in something that only offers comfort when it’s convenient. That tension runs through the track, giving it a haunting, uneasy feel.
“XXX IN DESIGNER” sets the tone for a strong run of new music from GiGi Polar this year. He’ll make his live debut with a band at a sold-out The Waiting Room in London on Wednesday 28th January.
Known for his raw, introspective and melodic sound which blends post-punk, indie and hyperpop. He explores themes of emotional numbness, isolation and heartbreak.
