Femke — Love Somebody Else

Femke releases emotionally-driven new single “Love Somebody Else”

Baed between Nashville, Los Angeles and Amsterdam, Dutch native Femke moved to the USA 10 years ago to pursue her dream to work in music. And she’s been successful in the states working on several projects such as ABC’s 10 Things I Hate About You and sang on the soundtrack of the movie Fired Up with Mark Hoppus from Blink 182.

She’s also been releasing her own solo music, and today she’s blessed our ears with the amazing “Love Somebody Else”— a beautifully-written song about an ex boyfriend who ended up being a stalker.

“He was incredibly good at being two completely different people and to the outside world no one would ever be able to see that other side of him. A big part of this song is about how you fall in love with one person and you think that that’s who they are, until you realize it was actually someone else who just made you want to believe they were the person you fell in love with. It’s been years ago that this has happened but it took a while to not walk around scared.”Femke.
