Cat Rose Shares Debut Single “Money”

18 year-old newcomer Cat Rose has collaborated with co-producer Alfie Frank on her impressive debut single “Money”. The song explores themes of loyalty and desire built over an infectious alternative R&B production.

“Money is about how others can be selfish and use you. The concept of money in the song represents kindness and trust, which I’m guilty of bestowing maybe too freely, and how friends can change and use that against you. My music is influenced by my life and the lives of those around me. At the time I wrote Money, I was kind of just feeling crushed about relationships in the past and wanted to express that in a cool way. It was really therapeutic to write” — Cat Rose.

With an alluring vocal ability and clever lyricism, Rose shows her immense potential on a strong debut that has left us anticipating more. She’s definitely one to watch.
