Brandon Hawkins – do u ski?

Brandon Hawkins turns class rage into something loud, sharp and impossible to ignore

Newcastle-born and raised artist Brandon Hawkins makes music for people who live on the edges, and new single “do u ski?” arrives with exactly that energy. In-your-face, abrasive and deliberately confrontational, the track is a misanthropic class-clash anthem that does not bother softening its message. It is angry, direct and built to leave a mark.

Written as an unapologetic swipe at upper-class arrogance, “do u ski?” thrives on its venom. Brandon channels frustration into something raw and immediate, delivering a track that feels less like commentary and more like a full-body rejection of wealth, pomposity and hollow superiority. There is humour in its bite, but the fury underneath it is real.

That tension is part of what makes Brandon Hawkins so compelling. He has been making music since the age of 15, but only started sharing it publicly in 2022. Since then, he has built an emerging passionate underground following drawn to the honesty and edge in his work – and if “do u ski?” is anything to go by, 2026 could be the year that reaches far beyond the underground.

With another single, “napoleon,” set for April, more releases on the way and a debut LP, 48 belstone avenue, due in early October, Brandon Hawkins is not slowing down. But for now, “do u ski?” feels like the perfect entry point: chaotic, biting and made to be played loud.
