Copenhagen-based band Odd Loop release stunning new single “Locksmith”
Fronted by queer-political duo Grace Andersen (she/her) and Elvira Hebel (they/them), who first crossed paths while gigging all over Copenhagen’s buzzing music scene. The band rounds out with drummer Sebastian Irn (he/him) and keyboardist Sophus Rohde (he/him), both bringing their own left-field flair to the mix.
Their latest drop, “Locksmith”, kicks off a fresh new era for the group. After independently releasing their debut album back in 2021, they’ve been steadily stacking a loyal hometown fanbase with a string of sold-out, DIY shows at some of Copenhagen’s leading venues.
The song itself fuses midwest dream rock with that Copenhagen energy, channeling the atmospheric pull of Astrid Sonne, ML Buch and Snuggle, while carrying the emotional warmth of the American indie scene.
