vi0let — Believe Me When I Cry [EP]

Brighton-based singer-songwriter vi0let unveils new EP Believe Me When I Cry alongside stunning new single “Cream and Peaches”

Finding solace in songwriting, vi0let has benefited greatly from the emotional outlet. Her new EP Believe Me When I Cry plays out as a coming of age journey, touching on many feelings. Outstanding vocals and floaty production capture the joyful first stages of falling in love. Accompanied by a glamorous music video shot by Sorin D Visuals, the EP’s soulful focus track “Cream and Peaches” is a dreamy R&B vibe that provides a delightful 3.44 minutes of escapism.

“I was in the honeymoon stage with someone and one morning we woke up and it was a sunny day in Brighton. I had to go to the studio that morning so I left early, grabbed a coffee on the way and felt like I was on cloud 9. I never wanted this feeling to end, feeling so safe and comfortable. I got in the studio and wrote Cream and Peaches in about 15 minutes, it just flowed out. It’s one of my favourite songs I’ve ever made especially because vocally I really put myself out of my “safe zone” and it motivated me to continue to push myself with what I’m capable of doing. Cream and Peaches is a flirty and fun love letter to the honeymoon stage.”vi0let.

Standout track “Going Places” showcases the emerging artists brilliant songwriting— she effortlessly combines R&B with sprinkles of pop to create an introspective track that will not only resonate with listeners, but instantly stick thanks to its earworm melodies.
