London is home to many emerging alt-rap or alternative hip-hop artists and groups that have built a loyal cult following despite being unknown to the mainstream world. Consisting of producer Ramon and vocalist privacydied, West London duo YOUR LOSS combine multiple genres such as grime, punk and emo to create their own unique sound. On their new album (II), they continue to push the envelope of what can be achieved through their craft. Standout tracks “Vantablack” and “Chaos” truly shows how far they will go to demonstrate their versatility. Although there’s a bleak tone throughout, the 8 track LP is a solid offering — hearing these songs live is something we’re eager to experience in the near future.
