Nsolo Unveils Haunting Visuals For “Exile”

LA-based Mexican artist Nsolo creates R&B music that occasionally infuses alternative and electronic music. Although he’s influenced by Maxwell in how he uses falsetto in his records and Frank Ocean in how he writes and crafts stories in his songs, the rising star is often compared to James Blake.

“I used to record tracks in my car since I didn’t have studio space, but since moving, I am now currently recording from my bedroom most of the time”Nsolo.

The haunting music video was inspired by a twisted version of Orpheus and Eurydice, however switched to the perspective of the woman character following the man outside of a dream world. It’s a visually stunning video directed by Yongmin Hwang, with cinematography by Robby Salisbury, that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Niselda Gonzalez, who plays the main character, impresses with a passionate performance in the video. This is a must watch, press play.
