Mighloe Releases Gorgeous New Single “Don’t Call Me”

Emerging Canadian singer-songwriter Mighloe releases gorgeous new single “Don’t Call Me”, the first single from her forthcoming EP Desperate Times.

Every other day, we either discover or are introduced to an amazing Canadian artist. Although the likes of The Weeknd, Drake, Justin Bieber, Alessia Cara, Carly Rae Jepsen, Shawn Mendes and co have been dominating the music world in recent years, Canada continues to develop some of the best emerging artists you’ll ever hear. And despite being the second biggest country in the world by total area, at just under 40 million, Canada’s population is less than other leading music markets such as the US, Germany, Japan and the UK. Step forward Mighloe, a talented singer-songwriter based in Canada’s most populous city Toronto, with her gorgeous new single “Don’t Call Me”. Built over a captivating production which has a nostalgic 90’s vibe, the emerging artist delivers a breathtaking and soulful vocal performance as she expresses the universal sentiment of reaching your breaking point that often leaves on jaded and weary of love. As a listener she instantly draws you in with her alluring vocals and touches on a subject that most of us can relate to. “Don’t Call Me” is one of the best releases we’ve heard so far this year, and we’re now excited for her forthcoming EP Desperate Times.

“Writing ‘Don’t Call Me’ came from a place of being fed up. There are so many people that come in and out of our lives, and sometimes these people hinder our stability and sense of self. This song was my way of saying “enough!” I will no longer let these people take parts of myself. It’s me realizing that my energy is sacred and will not be disturbed. It’s the final “Fuck You” but say it politely. “Don’t Call Me.””Mighloe.
